Guru Rajalakshmi Krishna is the Founder and Artistic Director of Shreebala Nrithyalaya, a premier Bharatanatyam institution based in Frisco, Texas. A dedicated practitioner and teacher, she is deeply rooted in the rich traditions of Bharatanatyam, upholding its authenticity through discipline, grace, and aesthetic excellence. She has received rigorous training under Guru Thanjavur smt Jayalakshmi Arunachalam and her grand-uncle, kalaimamani Guru Shree K.R. Radhakrishnan of the Vazhuvoor bani, one of the senior-most disciples of the legendary Guru padmashree Shree Vazhuvoor Ramaiah Pillai, a lineage that forms the foundation of her artistic vision and teaching philosophy. With rigorous training, she has performed extensively across prestigious platforms in India and the United States, predominantly with live orchestral accompaniment.
A visionary choreographer, she has conceptualized and presented acclaimed dance productions such as Arupadai Veedu, Meenakshi Thirukalyanam, Nandanar charitham and Ramayanam, all of which have been warmly received and appreciated for their depth, storytelling, and adherence to classical values.
